Grape Vines
Grape vines are quite successful when grown southern part of the country, preferably given protection of a warm wall. For best results, grape vines should be planted in rich, deep soil anytime between the months of October and February.

Grapes from the grape vine are used in the making of wine. While there are several different species of grape vine, most of the wine in the world is made from the vinifera vine. Grapes from the grape vine are juiced and then fermented and aged to make several different types of wine, depending on the grape used and the climate of the region.

Grape vines are also used in the production of jams and juices. The type of grape vine most used in this setting is the vitis labrusca. This type of grape vine is also known as the fox grape.

The grapes grown by grape vines come in many different colors varying by species. From yellow to green, pink to deep red, these vines will add a nice touch of color to any garden, as well as a delicious snack.
