| The
passion vine, native to tropical America, comes in about 400
different species in an endless array of colors. The complex
bloom of the passion vine is used in the production of perfumes.
|
As
there are differing colors of the flora on passion vines,
there are also differing traits to the flora. Some of the
flowers are extremely fragrant, while some are not. Many of
the blooms are very complex and have strikingly bold colors.
The
passion vine can be grown indoors and needs an average amount
of water. The passion vine must be watered regularly, but
over-watering should be avoided. The passion vine also requires
a good amount of exposure to sun.

Passion
vines thrive in many different climates. They are most hardy,
however, in zones 7b to 11. The blooms of the passion vine
can appear from mid-spring to mid-fall, varying by species,
and are attractive to bees, birds and butterflies.
