The
flowers of the trumpet vine are a bright orange to red hue
and attract hummingbirds. The vine can survive in areas as
cold as zone 4, but will wait until the warmer part of the
year to come out of hibernation and bloom again.
Trumpet
vines are aggressive and fast growing. When used on walls,
a trumpet vine can reach up to 40 feet. The trumpet vine does
require a fair amount of exposure to sunlight in order to
grow and bloom effectively. |
